Site Changes
Our goal is to keep this website fresh and exciting. We create timely editorial to replace content that becomes out-dated or out-of-season, and move and expand portions of the site. We cannot guarantee that something you may have seen on a previous visit will still feature on our website when you visit again. We reserve the right to make changes to the website without prior notice.
Product display
We have made every effort to display the products featured as accurately as possible. However, the colours we use, as well as the display and colour capabilities of your particular computer monitor, may greatly affect the colours you actually see on the screen. Living Islam cannot be held responsible for any limitations of your monitor and cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour, texture, or detail of merchandise will be accurate / the same as the actual product.
Product availability
Many (but not all) of our featured items are also available in our store in limited quantities and because of their limited availability, stock may not be replenished. Please note that not all stock will be available in our store and we recommend that you telephone the relevant store to check availability of the product before making a visit.
Product Pricing
In the rare event of a product price discrepancy, the purchase price of the product on the Living Islam website prevails over the price that may appear on the delivery or product packaging. You will always be charged the price that is displayed on the checkout page. If the price is reduced after you purchased the item at full price, we cannot refund the difference. We will endeavour to inform you at least 12 hours prior to any promotional activity that will take place on our website, however in exceptional circumstances promotions on our website may be added without prior notice. Please note, the online price on selected products may differ from the in store price during any promotional activity.Age-restricted products
By law we cannot sell knives, products containing tobacco to persons under the age of 18. Proof of ID maybe requested when ordering either of these products. We will not deliver knives/tobacco to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18, as applicable. DVDs cannot be sold to anyone under the age certificate specified on the DVD title. By placing an order for these products, you are confirming that you are of legal age and that the information you provide is truthful and correct. By accessing this website you agree to the full terms and conditions covered herein.
P&P
All orders below £50 are charged a flat rate of £5 for postage, while all orders above £50 are absolutely free.
However, if you are not at home to receive the parcel, please ensure that someone else is. If the parcel is returned to us, you will either have to pay the complete £8.21 postage price or we will refund you the items deducting the aforementioned postage cost.
Please also give up to one working day processing time before your order is dispatched. ALL BREAKABLE ITEMS ARE POSTED ON THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER AND WILL NOT BE REPLACED IF RECEIVED BROKEN.
There are two types of vouchers that can be used on the Living Islam website: Gift Vouchers and eVouchers.
Gift Vouchers
Once you scratch off the silver foil and enter the voucher code into the website, we will validate the code, the value and the expiry date. If everything is correct, we will take the value against your order.
Once you have scratched off the silver foil from your Gift Voucher you will not be able to use any value of the Gift Voucher in store. You will be able to use any remaining value online.
If the order is for more than the value of the Gift Voucher, we will take the full amount shown on the Gift Voucher and any partial payment due from a credit/debit card.
If the order is for less than the value of the Gift Voucher, we will convert the remaining balance to an eVoucher and you can use it against future online orders only. Please keep your voucher code in a safe place for when you need it next as we do not keep records of voucher codes against customer names.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
eVouchers
eVouchers are for online use only.
You will receive an eVoucher if: 1. You have paid for goods using a Gift Voucher or an eVoucher in full or partial payment of an order. 2. You have been issued it by our Living Islam customer service team as recompense for an error we have made.
Where vouchers have been used as a tender for an online order (part or full payment), any item that is returned within that order will be refunded back first in eVouchers to the same value that was originally spent in vouchers, with the balance being refunded to the payment card. Returns in store will be refunded in Gift Vouchers.
You can check the balance of eVouchers and converted Gift Vouchers by entering the codes in the My eVouchers section in My Account. Each time you enter a voucher code as payment, the balance will be reduced.
Vouchers and Fraud Checks
As part of our policy to protect against the fraudulent use of credit cards, we conduct security checks on all our orders and where vouchers have been used as a part tender for an online order, and the credit card fails fraud checking, the redeemed value against that voucher will not be reversed.
Vouchers and Customer Service
We're always happy to help with your order, but if you intend to enter a voucher code against an order but then forget to do so, unfortunately our customer service team cannot do it retrospectively for you.
Electronic waste
Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams and much of it can be recycled to make new consumer goods. With effect from July 2007, the UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations have required that all retailers both actively assist in delivering a UK wide WEEE collection infrastructure and encourage their customers to participate in recylcing. So that our customers can get their waste electrical goods recycled. In order to assist customers in remembering that electronic goods can be recycled and therefore should not be placed in the general waste. Please help us to minimise the effect we have on the environment by recycling your waste electrical goods. Customers can find their nearest recycling points and helpful recycling tips for electrical goods by visiting www.recycle-more.co.uk.
Promotional codes
We cannot retrospectively apply a promotional code to your order. If you place an order without correctly applying the promotional code, we will be unable to reimburse you the discount once the order has been placed. If you are having difficulty applying your code or believe your code to be faulty, please contact our call centre who will gladly investigate for you. Please note: To receive FREE standard delivery, the total amount of £80 or more must be payable after any promotional discounts have been applied to your order.
Website errors
We endeavour to present the most recent, most accurate, and most reliable information on our website at all times. However, there may be occasions when some of the information featured may contain incomplete data, typographical errors, or inaccuracies. Any errors are wholly unintentional and we apologise if erroneous information is reflected in merchandise price or item availability. We try to ensure that all pricing on the website is accurate, but occasionally an error may occur and goods may be incorrectly priced. If we discover that a pricing error has been made, we reserve the right to suspend your order and contact you to ask whether you wish continue with the order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. We present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either expressed or implied. We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice.
Website access
Given the unpredictability of technology and the online environment, Living Islam does not warrant that the function or operation of this website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available will be free of viruses or other harmful elements. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction. As a visitor to, and user of this website, you must assume full responsibility for any costs associated with the servicing of equipment employed in connection with your use of our site. In effect, you agree that your access will be subject to these terms and conditions and that such access is undertaken at your own risk. Living Islam shall not be liable for damages or losses of any kind which you may incur from your use of or inability to access this site.

If you use the website, it is your responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of your account and password and that no unauthorised persons have access to them. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should let us know immediately if you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.
Please ensure that your personal details are up-to-date and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering.
House of Fraser reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, you will not be charged.
Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
VAT
For customers residing in Jersey and Guernsey, please note: any items purchased from the Living Islam website are inclusive of VAT. This is a UK registered website and we have no legal obligation to supply items with zero VAT. All queries relating to VAT should be made to the HM Customs on 0845 010 9000.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
